Enhanced Ride Comfort and Driving Dynamics
To enhance its renowned ride comfort and deliver agile dynamics befitting the new Lexus Driving Signature, the rear suspension braces of the new Lexus ES have switched from a single-sheet structure to a stronger dual-sheet structure.
The new Lexus ES features improved torsional and lateral rigidity of the rear suspension which enhances control and achieves more linear and neutral handling faithful to a driver’s intentions. The ES F Sport is also now more responsive to low damping forces, achieving high-quality ride comfort while advancing steering response and stability.
A Truly Human Centred Interior
More comfortable and engaging driving characteristics are complemented by new cabin design features, ornamentation options and imaginative technology that add sophistication to the sumptuous seating and expansive space inside the Lexus ES.
The high-resolution 12.3-inch widescreen display has been brought forward by more than 100mm compared with the previous model, debuting touch-display functionality to increase usability options for the driver and front passenger.
Luxurious soft-touch dashboard and door materials, finely detailed stitching and impeccable fit and finish are now further extended by the availability of new Walnut material ornamentation.
Improved Lexus Safety System +⁴ and Lexus Connected Services
The new Lexus ES follows the flagship LS with technology including the availability of BladeScan adaptive high-beam system (AHS), Lexus Connected Services and the latest Lexus Safety System+4.
BladeScan AHS increases the range of high beam illumination, enabling the driver to better recognise pedestrians and road signs without impeding the visibility of the proceeding driver or of drivers approaching from the opposite direction.
Lexus Connected Services debuts for the first time on ES, including SOS Emergency Call (SOS)1, Automatic Collision Notification (ACN)2 and Stolen Vehicle Tracking (SVT)3.

The new Lexus ES will debut in Australia with a new ES 250 grade. The ES 250 features a new 2.5-litre petrol engine that delivers a strong 152kW of power and achieves high torque with 243Nm.
