HOW DO I SETUP THE LEXUS CONNECTED SERVICES?
Lexus Connected Services are available by default on specific new model vehicles at point of purchase.

WHO IS THE ENTITY RESPONSIBLE FOR PROCESSING LEXUS CONNECTED VEHICLE DATA?
Connected Vehicle data collection and processing is undertaken by Lexus Australia and other members of the One Lexus Network.

WHAT INFORMATION IS BEING COLLECTED AND HOW IS IT BEING USED?
Lexus Connected Services are delivered by collecting and utilising your vehicle and personal data for the purpose of delivering Lexus Connected Services.

In the following circumstances and events:
During an Automatic Collision Notification (ACN) and Emergency Call (SOS) where it is visible to Lexus Emergency Assistance and shared with emergency responders, and B. During a Stolen Vehicle Tracking (SVT) request where it is visible to Lexus Stolen Vehicle Assistance and shared with police.

In the event, your vehicle’s Location Data, (latitude and longitude) is used to determine where your vehicle needs assistance. Your Personal Information (when you call our Lexus Emergency Assistance or Stolen Vehicle Assistance) such as your name, address, phone number, email address, etc. to verify your account, and your Voice Recordings to provide assistance to you and for quality assurance.

SOS EMERGENCY CALL (SOS)

WHAT IS SOS EMERGENCY CALL (SOS)?
In the event of a genuine emergency, help is just an SOS button press away connecting you with a trained Lexus Emergency Assistance agent. If required, the agent will contact emergency services (ambulance, fire and/or police) and provide them with your vehicle's location information. This service is available 24 hours, 7 days a week

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I PRESS THE SOS BUTTON?
When the SOS button is pressed, the vehicle will:
  1. Place a call to Lexus Emergency Assistance, and
  2. Send your vehicle's location to Lexus Emergency Assistance.


WHEN SHOULD I USE THE SOS EMERGENCY CALL BUTTON?
If you are in, or see a genuine emergency, press the in-vehicle SOS button for immediate assistance from Lexus Emergency Assistance.

For all other issues or enquiries related to Lexus Connected Services, please call your preferred Lexus dealer for further assistance.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I ACCIDENTALLY PRESS THE SOS BUTTON?
Please inform the Emergency Assistance agent that you pressed the button accidentally and confirm that no emergency is taking place. The agent will offer to terminate the call.

If you do not speak with the agent, emergency services may be dispatched to your location as we will assume you are unable to respond & a genuine emergency is taking place.

AUTOMATIC COLLISION NOTIFICATION (ACN)

WHAT IS AUTOMATIC COLLISION NOTIFICATION (ACN)?
If your vehicle is involved in a serious collision where an airbag deploys or impact sensors are triggered, Automatic Collision Notification (ACN) will initiate a voice call to a Lexus Emergency Assistance call centre agent. If required, the agent will contact emergency services (ambulance, fire and/or police) and provide them with your vehicle's location information. This service is available 24 hours, 7 days a week.

WHAT TYPES OF EMERGENCIES CAN AUTOMATIC COLLISION NOTIFICATION (ACN) HELP WITH?
In a road accident where your airbags are deployed or impact sensors triggered, Automatic Collision Notification (ACN) can help if you need emergency assistance from police, fire or ambulance.

WHAT HAPPENS IN THE EVENT OF AN AUTOMATIC COLLISION NOTIFICATION (ACN) WHERE THE OCCUPANT IS UNCONSCIOUS OR UNABLE TO RESPOND?
Where an ACN has occurred and the occupant is unable to communicate with the Lexus Emergency Assistance agent, emergency services will be dispatched to the vehicle's location.

STOLEN VEHICLE TRACKING (SVT)

WHAT IS STOLEN VEHICLE TRACKING (SVT)?
Stolen Vehicle Tracking (SVT) provides you with enhanced vehicle security and peace of mind should your vehicle be stolen, including the ability to track your vehicle once you have reported it stolen, and have your police report ready.

This service is available 24 hours, 7 days a week.

HOW DO I ENROL OR OPT OUT OF STOLEN VEHICLE TRACKING (SVT)?
As a key security feature, Stolen Vehicle Tracking (SVT), is automatically enabled at point of purchase of your vehicle. You may opt out of SVT at any time by calling Lexus Connected Account Enquiries on 1300 064 789 between 9:00am to 5:30pm AET Monday to Friday, excluding national public holidays.

WHAT DO I DO IF MY VEHICLE IS STOLEN?
If your vehicle has been stolen, please follow the steps below to initiate Stolen Vehicle Tracking (SVT):

  1. You will need to file a stolen vehicle report with the police, who will provide you with a police report number.
  2. With your police report number and vehicle VIN ready, call Lexus Stolen Vehicle Assistance on 1300 216 737 and advise the agent your vehicle has been stolen and you would like to initiate tracking.
  3. The agent will validate that you have a subscription to SVT, and request the police report number & VIN from you in order to initiate tracking.

Once tracking is initiated, Lexus Stolen Vehicle Assistance will provide updates to the police to assist with the potential recovery of your vehicle.

APPLE CARPLAY® AND ANDROID AUTO™

HOW DOES IT WORK?
Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™5 are Apple and Google's phone mirroring protocols that enables selected applications to be projected onto the vehicle display. This is achieved by plugging your smartphone into the vehicle head unit through a factory-supplied USB connection.

WHAT DEVICES ARE COMPATIBLE WITH APPLE CARPLAY® AND ANDROID AUTO™?
Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ are supported by the following devices:

LEXUS ENFORM⁸

WHAT IS LEXUS ENFORM?
Lexus Enform8 is a multimedia feature that uses a compatible smart phone app2 to access a suite of in-vehicle apps and services. It provides real-time advice on calendar events and the latest weather updates. It can receive navigation destinations from the smart phone, search for local addresses, restaurants and businesses all though the vehicle's multimedia display system.

HOW DOES ENFORM WORK?
It works by pairing a compatible smart phone2, with Lexus Enform installed, to your vehicle's multimedia display via Bluetooth®. You can easily control Enform services through the vehicle's remote touch controller. Access will be via the Lexus Enform icon1 on the multimedia display on the centre console. Lexus Enform utilises compatible iPhone® or Android smart phones2, unlocking access to a suite of apps and services, all around the clock, all within your vehicle, all in real time.

WHAT APP SERVICES ARE INCLUDED?
The Lexus Enform8 apps will enable you to:

Plan trips and send single/multiple stops from a smart phone to the vehicle.
Find on-street/off-street parking nearby.
Set a parking reminder on your smart phone10.
Find petrol stations nearby using your smart phone10.
Check the weather forecast.
Check your calendar schedule and set destinations.
Search our online database for Points of Interest in your vehicle.
